Baseball wasn’t ever something I thought about growing up. No one in my family played other than a quick backyard game and our careers came to a crashing halt when we hit our baby brother in the head with a metal bat because he didn’t quite make it past home plate…
But this team was pretty special and I had seen an idea like this before so coerced all the other parents into helping me make this a reality. It was one of my favorite sessions I’ve ever done because the kids were so into it and absolutely crushed it. They got to choose whatever they wanted to do so they picked the parts of the game that they loved doing and I just got to watch through my lens!
Another piece of this story is the field. My kids started playing Tee Ball in Brewster so the only experience I have is in Brewster. We had a couple of away games this year and I realized how incredibly special Taylor Field is and how much goes into creating an epic place for their first home runs, amazing plays and just normal baseball moments, there really is no place like it.

Not Coca-Cola because it’s Brewster, if you know, you know!
