Amanda and Nathan’s Wildflower Pennsylvania Maternity Session

When Amanda called to tell me they were expecting a baby it was the highlight of my day! I have known Amanda and Nathan since middle school and have been able to document their engagement, wedding and now their first baby…19 years later! I am so excited for this exciting new chapter for their family. We had a couple different ideas about where to do their session but when they mentioned bringing Kinsley and I to visit and doing it at the same time as their baby shower I knew that was going to be my vote. Kinsley has already traveled more in the first year and has about 5 states that she has already been in and so far is a great little traveler.

We chose a couple different types of places around their home and since they live in Amish country I was able to see some of the Amish community in action, which was a bucket list item for me since my grandfather grew up Amish! The amazing scenery and farmland there makes me want to move just for the photo opportunities and fresh flowers. I loved getting to visit this wildflower field that is open to the public. We also went to a little water area with paths around which was another perfect spot!

Their baby shower was the sweetest event with people coming from all over the country to celebrate in a tree house venue! It was completely adorable!

I’m so glad they let me come on an adventure with them, travel is my love language and we had the most amazing 4 days!
